KiSS RADiO is partnering with Covenant House for SLEEP OUT: Mothers or Daughters Edition on May 30th.

Never underestimate the power of love.   Courageous women, united in the spirit of motherhood and daughterhood, come together to honor and love young people who have nowhere else to turn, while raising funds to support them and awareness for the struggles they face.

You can help by making a donation to support a Sleep Out participant or the event.

SLEEP OUT: Mothers or Daughters is a specific call to action for women to spend one night sleeping on the street to raise funds to support the Street Outreach Program at Covenant House.

Travelling on foot, Outreach Workers are often the face of Covenant House.   They take great care to build relationships with youth, and encourage them to come to the Crisis Program or Drop-In Centre.

Women 25 and over will unite in the spirit of motherhood and daughterhood to share love and comfort with homeless young people.   This is your opportunity to  join our sister station NEWS 1130 Reporters Lasia Kretzel and HanaMae Nassar as they and other dedicated MOTHERS and DAUGHTERS unite for one night.

On any given night there are between 500 and 1,000 young people living on the streets in Vancouver.   You can help by making a donation in support of a sleeper.

Women changing the world, one youth at a time.
