KiSS RADiO is proud to support the 21st Annual Courage To Come Back Awards.

NOMINATIONS ARE NOW OPEN TO 11:59PM ON JANUARY 31, 2019 

At Coast Mental Health, they know that with the right supports, people can overcome seemingly insurmountable challenges, build better lives and contribute meaningfully to our communities.   First held in Vancouver in 1999, the Courage To Come Back Awards were born out of their firsthand experience of the human spirit’s inspiring capacity to overcome adversity and our wish to celebrate British Columbians who have found the courage to come back.

The Courage To Come Back Awards are given in five categories:

• Mental Health
• Addiction
• Medical
• Physical Rehabilitation
• Youth

Courage To Come Back Award recipients will be recognized at a gala celebration on April 24, 2019 where their stories will be told and accomplishments honored.

Over the years, the gala has become Coast’s most important fundraiser. More than 1,800 people attended the 20th-anniversary event in 2018, raising a record $3.1 million. Funds raised from the Courage To Come Back Awards are vital to ensuring Coast can continue to provide the innovative, community-based and client-led programs that have made Coast a leader in mental health care.
