BTS made their VMAs debut and gave their first televised performance of their single ‘Dynamite’ on Sunday at the VMAs.

Performing from South Korea, BTS’ Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook danced in front of a green-screened backdrop, which featured various New York locations – Times Square, Brooklyn Bridge, and the Empire State Building.

With the support of the #BTSArmy, their high-energy performance began trending on Twitter, with fans using the hashtag #VMAWITHBTS.  Prior to their performance, BTS won ‘Best Group’ and ‘Best K-Pop.’  The boys also walked away with the awards for ‘Best Choreography’ and ‘Best Pop.’

The band spoke MTV about their smooth choreography, “I think we practiced for about two to three weeks.  But it took us about two days to get the choreography down.”
