Poor Josh Duhamel.

All he wanted to do was come to the defence of his ex Fergie and boy oh boy did it back fire; let me explain.

Earlier this year during the NBA All Star Game festivities, Fergie sang the US National Anthem and needless to say she did her own thing with the song…

Not surprisingly, her rendition went viral with people absolutely killing her for her performance…

It also spawned this viral reaction from Golden State Warriors forward, Draymond Green…

Well last week, Josh Duhamel was asked about the backlash that Fergie received and he said, “I was pissed off at Draymond Green, first of all. I think he owed her an apology. I thought he was kind of a prick,” he told FS1’s Kristine Leahy. “If you would’ve been a real man, he would at least called her and said ‘Listen, I’m sorry that I caused all this.’”

The Golden State Warriors decided to respond by dancing to a remix of Fergie’s national anthem rendition, spawning the, #FergieRemixChallenge.

Fergie liked it so much she reposted it on her own page and tweeted about it…

Josh Duhamel, seemingly learning his lesson that NBA Twitter isn’t to be messed with, then tweeted the following…

Listen below as Roz and Mocha break down the whole, #FergieRemixChallenge.
