Daddy’s back and we are crying tears of joy, y’all. Former POTUS and current king of our hearts Barack Obama sits down with late-night TV legend David Letterman in a new interview—his first on-screen since leaving office—after keeping a relatively low profile in 2017, and it does not disappoint. (Plus, we were getting exhausted trolling the internet for more pics of Obama and his bae Michelle on vacay, hbu?) Obama is the first guest on Letterman’s new Netflix special, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction, and in a just-released clip for the episode that drops on January 12, he talks about dancing onstage with Prince and his daughter Sasha, who, like all daughters, thinks her dad’s an embarrassing dancer. “I have ‘dad moves.’ And I think the key is what we call ‘staying in the pocket.’” SWOON TIMES ONE MILLION. (Also special shout out to Letterman’s burly grey beard which is a vision in and of itself).

Future guests on the monthly series of hour-long episodes include other mega-famous icons including Malala Yousafzai, Jay-Z, Tina Fey and George Clooney, so we know what *we’ll* be doing around the second Friday of every month.
