Weather experts call it a “river in the sky”, here in the Lower Mainland we call it getting drenched. If you’re thinking the rain so far this fall has been more intense than usual, you’d be right. An 8,000 km long system of precipitation is making its way across Vancouver, and traces all they way back across the Pacific to China!

And it’s not over yet. The system is expected to continue to hit us with more rain this weekend.

The third storm will hit Saturday bringing more heavy precipitation to the area. Environment Canada predicts we’ll see some sun by Tuesday of next week
