Just writing this made my fingers hurt real bad!

We have all got the dreaded paper cut at one point in our lives.

 

WARNING! Stay away from hand sanitizer!

 

It burns!! It BURNS!!! Owwwwww!

 

But now we know why these little monster cuts hurt so damn much.

 

The first reason why is because there are more pain receptors in your fingertips than most other places in your body.

 

Secondly, a piece of paper has serrated edges like a mini saw, that will tear up your skin! 

 

The last reason why is because paper cuts are too shallow to create enough blood to clot. So your body doesn’t rush in to help heal the wound.
