BIG BROTHER is your Summer addiction and every week we’ll be picking the brain of the evicted house guest to get the real deal on what went down in the house! Time to chat with Kevin!

This game was insane to watch this season and throughout it all you stayed true to yourself and you will go down in history and one of the most stand up guys the game has ever seen. I’m sure your friends and family back home will agree. What do you take away from this season when reflecting back at your time in the house?

That makes me feel so good, and I mean that! I’m not the type of person to turn on someone once I’ve given them my word. I agreed I wasn’t doing good in the physical comps so I had to use my social game. I just played the way that I thought a man should play the game with integrity.

Being the elder statesmen of the house, sometimes these kids were out of control. How did you try to calm them down when they came to you for advice, and if there’s one defining message you have to the remaining houseguests in their quest for the crown this season, what would it be and why?

When they would get upset, I would try and tell them it’s not that bad, try and relax and enjoy what’s around you. The whole thing is a game, try and understand that and enjoy yourself. Don’t take things so personally, it’s a game. Some of them just go too upset about everything and made it all about them. You want to play the game with dignity.

Things got extremely heated this season, more than ever. When it’s all said and done, it’s a game. Correct me if I’m wrong, but you seem like the type to let bygones be bygones in most cases and that’s one of the many reasons why people like you bro. Will this cast, and can this cast, leave the past tension, spats, arguments, and name calling behind them moving forward in the real world?

I’ve been telling them, and repeat it all the time, “this is a game”. A lot of the arguments in my mind were pre-meditated, they knew they were going to get into an argument. So some of the arguments in my opinion were gang related. Anyone who carries that over will not serve any purpose and wouldn’t help anybody and just make you miserable the whole time. I think everyone should just enjoy it, if you want to stay in contact then do it, and if not, be happy and move forward.

The double eviction with Jason and Raven sent packing must have been intense to witness. What went through your mind when that went down?

Jason and me are probably the best friends in the house, I mean we can connect on different levels. But it was going so quick, I actually thought I knew what was going on, and it was very quick, very stressful, the anxiety was very high. Because it was a double eviction, it went so quick, and actually made things easier. But then when it’s over, there’s two houseguests gone, you’re still there so…I guess that’s the whole game, that’s what it’s all about – that you have high levels of stress and anxiety, then you don’t, then it starts back up again
