“For everyone in their negative pants: Go be on the wrong side of history on somebody else’s Facebook page. xo” Wrote Arrow star Stephen Amell on Facebook.

This year’s Vancouver Pride was another exciting year of events, bright colours and love. Thousands of people were in attendance, including Arrow lead action Stephen Amell. Amell, who is in Vancouver filming the latest season of the comic book inspired show, shared a number of photos on social media from the weekend. Stephen posed on the brightly painted sidewalks with his wife and even snagged himself some balloons.

While the majority of the comments on his Instagram and Facebook where overwhelmingly positive, there were a few trolls that shared their disapproval. Some even saying that they would no longer be watching the show because of Amell’s support for the event and the LGBTQ+ community.

How people still exist like this in 2017 baffles me.

The Arrow star didn’t shy away from the negative comments and shared this status on his Facebook fan page:

YES!!! Nicely done Stephen Amell. If you’re looking for a group to join for next year’s parade, KiSS Radio would be more than happy to have you. We’ll even let you run the KiSS Cam.

ICYMI, here’s our video from this year’s parade #KiSSWhoYouWant
