KJ Apa and Charles Melton from the cast of Riverdale were spotted at Sookapalooza at 17 Mile Pub on Saturday night.

Charles (Reggie) and KJ (Archie) from the popular TV show are on the west coast filming season 2 of the show and took some time off over the weekend to head to Vancouver Island. From their Instagram posts, it looks like they spent some time camping and enjoying the scenery. Then, the actors and some friends stopped at 17 Mile Pub in Sooke to watch some of the performances at Sookapalooza.

The pair took photos with a few of the bands performing that night, Including Chris Jones, the lead singer of Sweetleaf.

Mike Luis, also from Sweetleaf shared that the guys were surprisingly down to earth:

“I only briefly chatted with KJ while I was unloading. He asked kindly if they could get a photo with us, which was obviously a tad ironic. He was really complimentary of our set and we gave him some CDs. Overall, they were the life of the party, taking photos, signing autographs, getting people dancing, doing arm wrestling contests. Just really lovely, fun guys.”

Good reggae gives me goosebumps. Thanks again bro you guys killed it
