Simon Cowell called and celebs responded. In the wake of the massive fire at Grenfell Tower in London that killed at least 79 people, dozens of British artists came together to record a charity single for the victims. Recorded over 3 days, Cowell rounded up the likes of Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne, James Blunt, James Arthur, Rita Ora, Robbie Williams, Stormzy, The Who, Geri Halliwell, Jessie J, Bastille and more to cover the Simon and Garfunkel classic, “Bridge Over Troubled Water”.
It was only one week ago that Simon took to Twitter to announce his plans after being heartbroken by what he saw unfold:
