Taylor Swift Is Back On The Market

…the streaming market, that is!!

As we all know, Taylor boycotted Spotify, demanding better pay for artists from streaming services, and she removed all her music from the streaming service in 2014.

Well, now her music is back and streaming for all to enjoy!

Taylor’s website Instagram account released a statement as to why her music has returned:

In celebration of 1989 selling over 10 Million Albums Worldwide and the RIAA’s 100 Million Song Certification announcement, Taylor wants to thank her fans by making her entire back catalog available to all streaming services tonight at midnight.

Congratulations to Taylor on her milestone! 

Coincidentally, Taylor has re-added her music to streaming services, the same day that Katy Perry has dropped her new album, WITNESS!

This looks SHAAAADY!!!!!

You’ll remember that the feud all started when Katy Perry let some of her dancers join Taylor on tour. Katy did state that she would most likely need them back, when her tour started up. This then apparently caused drama between Taylor and herself.

Katy was recently on Carpool Karaoke with James Corden, and she had this to say, “She started it, and it’s time for her to finish it.”

“I tried to talk to her about it, and she wouldn’t speak to me. I do the right thing any time it feels like a fumble. [I got] a full shutdown, and then she writes a song about me, “Bad Blood”… that’s how you want to deal with it? Karma.”

Taylor has been off working on new music (which we are all excitedly awaiting), meaning she hasn’t been in the spotlight lately.

So, what makes for better timing to put her whole catalog up on Spotify? NOW! The day Katy drops her album. Keeping the feud between them, alive and well!

If you don’t remember, Taylor did also comment on the feud, “She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me. And I’m surprisingly non-confrontational – you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now I have to avoid her. It’s awkward, and I don’t like it.”

Is Taylor being petty and desperate making her music available again, or is this all just purely coincidence?

It is definitely suspicious.
