Could you imagine being at your grad and out of no where Drew Taggert and Alex Pall just showed up?!

The Chainsmokers treated some very lucky high school students to a night they will never forget. This past Saturday, before their concert in Rosemont, Illinois, at the Allstate Arena, the duo surprised attendees at Huntley High School’s senior prom by dropping in for a quick set.

The prom was happening across the street from the venue for the show at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, allowing the band to visit the school with plenty of time to make their main gig. “Just crashed Huntley High schools prom! That was awesome! have a good rest of prom,” they shared on Twitter.

Other high school students hoping for an appearance by The Chainsmokers at their prom are in luck as the band followed up their initial tweet by adding, “Your prom could be next.” “Now back to All State Arena cause we got a sold out show in an hour! Big up,” they added.

This is so cool! They must’ve wanted to make up for a missed opportunity they had a couple months ago. A wedding was happening at the hotel they were staying at before a show. But by the time they made the decision to go down and play an impromptu set, the wedding was already over. But seriously, that couple’s loss, who ends a wedding before 2am?! Rookie move.

The Chainsmokers are the headliner for this year’s FVDED in the Park, happening in Surrey. Wouldn’t be surprised if we hear that the guys perform a pop-up show while visiting the lower mainland. FVDED in the Park is happening July 7 & 8th. Other performers include Wiz Khalifa, PARTYNEXTDOOR and Dillon Francis.
