Carter Wilkerson is my new hero.

Chicken nuggets might just be the perfect food. Who doesn’t love bite sized pieces of chicken that’re deep fried and perfect for dipping into your favourite sauce of choice. Honey BBQ for me, please.

Carter Wilkerson also has this love of nuggets and decided to do something bold. Something brilliant. Something only the bravest among us can only dream of doing.

He asked Wendy’s what he would need to do to get a year’s worth of free chicken nuggets.

Props to Wendy’s for whoever runs their social media because they are seriously killing it. They are always quick to clap back at haters or give a sassy response to their competitors and unlike other big companies who seem to just ignore random comments like this, they responded.

So right now, 18 million retweets is what stands between Carter and 365 days worth of nugget goodness.

Currently, the tweet that needs all those retweets is this one:

It’s currently sitting at only 1.1M retweets so there’s a bit of a long way to go.

But it is possible! Twitter currently claims that there are over 320 Million active users so this goal is more than attainable but Carter needs your help.

It doesn’t seem like this is some sort of elaborate marketing scheme from Wendy’s and it looks like they will make good on their promise if Carter reaches his 18M retweet goal.

If you share Carter’s love of chicken nuggets and have a twitter account, help him out.

We’ve already done our part:
