Say whaaaaaat? A music festival suing a clothing retailer? Believe it!

Urban Outfitters is being sued by Coachella for trademark infringement for selling clothing with the word “Coachella” on it. They’re not happy. They want it to stop. It’s America, people sue people for sneezing so this isn’t that out of the ordinary.

Every year, the festival in the California desert has hundreds of thousands of attendees show up to drink and dance and enjoy music in “festival wear” and it seems like Urban Outfitters wanted to cash in on the trend and make their shop the stop before the big show. Some think this is a party foul of mass proportions for Coachella to come down on them this hard, but money is money and trademarks are legal for a reason.

As far as the lineup goes…only one small change…so far…spot it?
