New High-Speed Commuter Ferry From Downtown Vancouver to Victoria coming in 2018

By this time next year, you might have not one but TWO new ways to get to Vancouver Island by water from Downtown Van.

A Seattle based company is launching a high-speed catamaran in spring 2018 that would seat almost 600 people.

As of right now, no word on how much it will cost, but the company did say there’s likely going to be three price levels on board.

Right now, this company, Clipper, does do service between Victoria and Seattle.

This comes after another company, V2V Vacations announced their new luxury ferry service from Downtown Vancouver to Victoria starting May 2017. (more)
