It’s Morphin Time! The Beloved 90’s reboot of the Power Rangers has a brand new trailer and we’ve got your first look at Bryan Cranston as Zordon!

Of course, when anyone brings up a reboot of a beloved childhood classic, everyone gets a bit skeptical. Not saying that this new trailer has changed our minds on whether or not it’s going to be good. but Bryan Cranston is pretty confident we’ll all love it.

It was a bit odd when the announcement came that the Breaking Bad star was going to be playing Zordon, the Ranger’s body-less mentor. But Cranston has been very vocal during press interviews about how great he thinks it is:

This movie is actually gonna be a big deal. I’ve seen a lot of it because I’m doing ADR on it. And it’s impressive.

We’re not entirely convinced yet, but we’re going to see it anyways. Let’s be real.

The first trailer for the new Power Rangers movie was much more serious(emo) than we expected and this new trailer, while serious, showcases a bit more humour. As well as the amazing Elizabeth Banks showing off her sinister side as villain Rita Repulsa.

Filmed in Vancouver, the new Power Rangers movie will be an origin story following five high-school students who become the mighty morphin heroes you’ll remember from yesteryear; they’re being played by RJ Cyler (Me and Earl and the Dying Girl), pop star Becky G as well as relative newcomers Naomi Scott, Ludi Lin and Dacre Montgomery. Montgomery by the way, is set to be in the second season of the Netflix Original Stranger Things.

Power Rangers hits theatres March 24th.
