Ed Sheeran Confirms 'Carpool Karaoke' Appearance!

You can now add Ed Sheeran to the list of big name celebrities to make appearance on the popular Late Late Show segment, ‘Carpool Karaoke’ with host James Corden!

The ‘Shape of You’ singer spoke with Roman Kemp of Capital FM and said, “I’ve been in touch with James Corden about this for three years, because he wanted me to do the first one and I just wasn’t around. I can confirm that at some point this year, I will be doing a Carpool Karaoke.”

The Late Late Show has seen some BIG names do ‘Carpool Karaoke’ such as Justin Bieber, Adele, and Selena Gomez. The segment has come a long way since its origins as initially Corden said it was a struggle to get celebrities to ride with him,

“If you imagine an artist, just think of any artist in the world, they said no to it. I mean, everyone..I’m talking, like, who’s the dudes who did ‘Cotton Eye Joe’? We were in those sorts of territories. … And they’re like, ‘I’m not doing that.’ (Howard Stern SiriusXM Radio Show)”
