Anyone else love a feel-good movie that’s based on a true story?

If you’re on the train with me, check out Hidden Figures, which gives us the previously untold story of three incredibly intelligent women behind space travel in the 1960s.

HIDDEN FIGURES is the untold story of Katherine Johnson (Taraji P. Henson), Dorothy Vaughan (Octavia Spencer) and Mary Jackson (Janelle Monáe)—brilliant African-American women working at NASA, who served as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in history: the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit, a stunning achievement that restored the nation’s confidence, turned around the Space Race, and galvanized the world. The visionary trio crossed all gender and race lines to inspire generations to dream big.

Take a look!

Pharrell Williams is one of the producers of this movie and he’s put together a bunch of new music for the soundtrack as well – all with a sweet 60s vibe!  Some other tracks feature Mary J. Blige, Alicia Keys and Janelle Monáe.

Hidden Figures is in theatres now!
