New Emojis could be coming to your phone this month!

Why has it taken so long to get a bacon emoji?!

74 potential new emojis including a pickle, deer and croissant could make their way to your phone at the end of the month.

Throwback to January when we were told that these emoji’s would be coming to our phone this summer, but that didn’t happen.

We did, however get a lot of new emojis that are more inclusive, which is awesome but we still don’t have a bacon emoji!! What. The. Heck.

According to Teen Vogue, Apple released the first beta of iOS 10.2 — the update containing all the new emojis — to developers on Monday, though the Unicode Consortium, a.k.a. the worldwide emoji standards watchdog, approved the full list of new emojis back in June. No word yet on the exact date that the emojis will hit iPhones, but experts estimate that it will happen sometime this month or next month.
