The long awaited return of Bruno Mars is set to happen this Friday!

Bruno has announced that his new single ’24k Magic’ (pronounced Twenty-Four Karat Magic) will drop on October 7th.

“Excited to announce 24K Magic, out this Friday!!” he said on Instagram. “You can call it my first single, but I call it the invitation to the party.”

’24k Magic’ will be the first single from his forthcoming third studio album, which will be the follow up to 2012s ‘Unorthodox Jukebox’.

Bruno hasn’t released new music since he appeared on Mark Ronson’s 2014 smash hit ‘Uptown Funk’.

A release date for the album hasn’t been announced, but Skrillex revealed in an interview with Billboard that he was working on new music with Bruno, “I’m actually working with Bruno Mars right now. I’m not going to give specifics of what it sounds like, but what we’re doing is so f–king different, awesome and next level and sounds like nothing else that’s happened before.”
