Of all time. Everyone else pack up your moose and Tim Horton’s and go home.

Salthaven Wildlife Rehabilitation & Education Centre West just won the unofficial contest for more Canadian picture ever. On Saturday, the Regina based wildlife rescue posted a photo and the Internet is losing it’s collective mind over the sheer Canuck power this one picture holds. The only thing that could possibly make it more Canadian would be if the officer was holding a cup of Timmie’s and a shirtless Trudeau was peaking out from behind the tree.

The photo is of one of their volunteers, RCMP Cpl. Jason Pinder posing in uniform holding a four-mouth old beaver. Cpl. Pinder has been volunteering for Salthaven Wildlife Rehabilitation & Education Centre West for the past five years while the orphaned beaver was rescued earlier this spring when it was about a day old. You’ll be happy to know that after spending some time at the centre, the young beaver has been released with a new beaver family since this photo was taken.

At the time this blog was written, the original post on the Salthaven Facebook page has gotten over 250 shares and over 300 likes.

The Saskatchewan centre rehabilitates injured and sick wildlife with the goal of sending them back into their natural habitat. Volunteers help care for a range of animals including birds of prey, raccoons, squirrels and, of course, beavers.
