The Simpsons might have done almost everything in the first 27 seasons (even doing a live animated show), but the show has still managed to find something new to do for its upcoming 28th season.

Fox has announced that The Simpsons will air its first ever hour long episode as part of the upcoming 28th season of the animated series.

It will debut sometime in January 2017, the episode is titled “The Great Phatsby” and will feature Key & Peele’s Keegan Michael-Key, and Empire’s Taraji P. Henson as guest voices. In the episode, Mr. Burns goes into bankruptcy after a music mogul tricks him into spending his fortune in an effort to relive his greatest days, after which Mr. Burns attempts to exact revenge on the man.

So he has to turn to the help of rapper Jazzy James (Key), the mogul’s ex-wife Praline (Henson), and Homer (of course).

The episode will also feature Marge opening a boutique store, while the wealthiest boy in town tries to win over Lisa, and Smithers “begins a perilous journey.”

The Simpsons crossed over with Family Guy for an hour-long episode of the latter series in 2014.

The 28th season of The Simpsons will also feature the show’s 600th episode (how old does that make you feel?), which will be this year’s “Treehouse of Horror XXVII.” That episode will air on October 16 while the season will premiere on September 25.

The season premiere is called “Monty Burns’ Fleeing Circus,” during which Springfield will be completely burned down, and the Simpsons plead with Mr. Burns to rebuild the town. He agrees to, so long as he gets to produce his own variety show.

I know it’s a little long in the tooth but I still PVR The Simpsons every week!
