The new single, ‘In Common’ has a Caribbean vibe to it and is the first taste from her upcoming new album, which will be released later this year.

Alicia talked to Billboard in 2014 about what to expect from her new music, “What I know for a fact is it’s the best music I’ve ever done in my life yet and it’s really exciting to be able to have this kind of growth, this type of opportunity,”

Alicia is the musical guest on Saturday Night Live tonight; Oscar winner Brie Larson is the guest host.
