Don't Try Setting Your iPhone to 'Retro Mode'

This photo has been floating around online this week encouraging Apple users to change the date on their iPhone settings to January 1st, 1970. The change, according to the fake ad, will transform your phone into fun, rainbow ‘retro’ mode.

But DON’T DO IT. By setting the date to Jan. 1 1970 and rebooting it, the device won’t restart fully, getting stuck at the Apple logo.
