Celebrate the artistry and science of mixology!

On February 6, 2020, Science of Cocktails will celebrate its 5th annual event, under the glittering iconic dome at TELUS World of Science. A Science World signature event where Vancouver’s most talented bartenders and chefs showcase the connection between ingredients, technique and science exploring the physics, chemistry and biology behind cocktails, under the iconic geodesic dome, knowing that the proceeds from your ticket will help kids from underserved schools develop a life long love for science and technology.

The Science of Cocktails open bar (yes, open bar!) event hosts over 25 beverage stations sponsored by leading brands, uniquely crafted libations from award-winning bartenders, as well as mouth-watering food pairings prepared by locally renowned restaurants and caterers. Enjoy fun, hands-on cocktail themed activities and programming.

By attending Science of Cocktails on February 6, you are helping over 8,000 kids from underserved schools visit Science World next school year. All proceeds support Science World Class Field Trip Bursary Program.

Your Impact

Science World is a place where science and innovation come alive! And when you support Science World’s signature event, Science of Cocktails, you’ll be helping to send thousands of kids from underserved schools to Science World on class field trips.

An average class bursary to send two classes of 24 students to Science World at TELUS World of Science costs approximately $868. This cost includes bus transportation to/from their school, admission, and a take-home activity,

With the help of the funds raised by Science of Cocktails, nearly 8,000 students from underserved schools will visit Science World on a class field trip this school year. In 2019/2020, we hope to surpass that number, and you can help by attending the 5th annual Science of Cocktails fundraising event on February 6, 2020.
