Move Aside, Kids....Disney is Launching "Disneyland After Dark" in 2018!!

A few weeks ago on the show, we asked you….”What would you love an adults-only version of?”, and the #1 answer from our listeners: “Disneyland”.

Looks like our dreams are coming true because Disney Parks has announced they’re rolling out “Disneyland After Dark”- an after-hours experience- where you can enjoy your favourite rides until 1am!! Yes, long past the bedtimes of little ones.

While it’s not technically an adults-only affair, it’ll mean you’ll have less little ones to contend with in the later hours when you want to ride the classic “kids dark rides” like Peter Pan and Snow White.

According to the Disney Parks Blog:

“Disneyland After Dark kicks off January 18 with its first after-hours event – Throwback Nite!

Step back in time to the ‘50s and ‘60s for a taste of the classic after-dark experience at Disneyland. Come dressed in your best to enjoy the Happiest Place on Earth under a million twinkling lights, swinging to the tune of the bands and enjoying your favorite rides in the cool moonlight ‘till the clock strikes 1 a.m.!

So not only will you get to ride into the night, but the first themed night will take you back into time:

“Original attraction posters of Disneyland experiences from yesteryear welcome you as you commemorate the evening with special photo locations – and unlimited digital downloads are included with your event admission! Live music and dancing bring the bygone era to life throughout the park, and the sky lights up with an exclusive showing of “Fantasy in The Sky” fireworks. Guests will receive a commemorative lanyard and a vintage-inspired park map that will highlight the special experiences taking place throughout the evening.”

Tickets go on sale at Disneyland.com to the general public on December 7 and on November 30 for annual passholders of the resort. Couple that with the fact that they have a 25% discount for Canadian residents deal on now and now might be the time to book your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth.
