Congratulations class of 2017!

Congratulations to all high school graduates! It may only seem like yesterday you entered high school as a skinny, timid student trying to figure out where your next class was or remember your locker combination. Now, be sure to measure your time in high school with the amount of hours that you were hard at work during classes. You learned all semester to study for tests and exams, and write papers and reports on things you may have loved (or not liked at all!) to succeed and choose what you want to do next. But above all, the friendships you’ve made along the way will be with you forever. After graduation, you have the future ahead of you and it’s up to the next class to step into your shoes as you enter your next steps.

A special CONGRATS to KiSS RADiO listener Maddy F as she graduates today from Robert Bateman Secondary School in Abbotsford! Maddy is the lucky winner of the KiSS Graduation contest presented by New Image College. Maddy had aspirations to be a makeup artist during high school and is very interested in the cosmetology industry upon graduation. New Image College has generously awarded her with a $7000 scholarship towards their makeup school! New Image opens its doors to those who have the lifelong dream of working in the movie industry as well as developing, designing and applying beauty and character makeup for professionals.

Thanks again to New Image College for providing hair, makeup, and nail services to Maddy and her friends before grad today plus the generous gift baskets, as well as Silver Lady Limousines for a classy ride to prom!
