That’s because it’s transparent, instead of it’s usual brown. CLR CFF is the world’s first colourless version of your favourite caffeinated beverage.

We’ve all seen the toothpaste ads telling you that coffee stains your teeth, which makes you an unattractive, unlovable dumpster fire of a human being. The hope being that they’ll play on your insecurities about dying alone and spend money on stripes and gels to make your whites a little more pearly.

Well, now you can just skip the strips and start drinking coffee that won’t stain your teeth!

CLR CFF is the first company ever to produce clear coffee, which is exactly what it sounds like. It’s a totally transparent, caffeinated beverage, the taste of which has been likened to a “potent cold brew.”

The company was created by two brothers based out of London that noticed that their own caffeine habits were staining their teeth, so they invented something to stop it. They make it sound like it’s so simple.

It only took them three months to perfect the process, which involves “high-quality Arabica coffee beans” treated with “methods which have never been used before.”

The product, while a bit off-putting to your brain that’s probably saying “that’s not natural, coffee is supposed to be brown” seems to be pretty safe to drink. The company claims that their product does not contain preservatives, artificial flavours, stabilizers, sugar or any other sweeteners. Plus it’s only 4 calories!

Co-founder David Nagy told London Evening Standard,

We are heavy coffee drinkers. Like many other people we struggled with the teeth stains caused by it. There was nothing on the market that would suit our needs so we decided to create our own recipe.

Now if you’re excited like me and want to get your hands on a bottle, it’s gonna take a bit of work.

Right now, the product is only available in Europe and it won’t be cheap to get it.

A pack of two runs for £5.99 (about $10) or a pack of 5 is £14,99 (~ $25) and the shipping is another $25 to ship to THE STATES. Yeah, no options to deliver to Canada yet so you’re SOL if you don’t have family or friends state side.

I did talk with a buying rep for Whole Foods in BC since Whole Foods in the UK is currently carrying the product and she did say that if CLR CFF were to be approved for sale in Canada, they would be interested in possibly bringing it to their store shelves. Sadly, she didn’t have any timeline of when that would become a reality.
